ROUND ONE (October 1, 2010 - April 1, 2010) - NOMINATIONS
What is Bookcrush-A-Thon?

Bookcrush-A-Thon is a fangirly celebration for the best part of every YA book... the totally dreamy fictional guy who could never exist in real life!

There's been a lot of hoopla lately about Team Edward and Team Jacob, Team Peeta and Team Gale, Team Shadowhunter, Team Vampire, Team Werewolf, Team Mortals, Team Immortals, Team Team Team Team Team team team team...

...and I thought, "I wonder whose Team really has the most might."

So now Bookcrush-A-Thon is borne! It's a friendly competition ONLY. NO BASHING IS ALLOWED!

Each round of bookcrushathon will last approximately six months. Twenty-four dreamy bookcrushes. One ultimately dreamy winner per Round! Each week, one more bookcrush will be eliminated until only one is left! It's like Survivor, only not stupid.

It's time to start nominations for Round #001!

NOMINATE A DREAMY BOOKCRUSH!

These are NOMINATIONS for ROUND #001. After all of the nominations - which are a great way to promote your favorite book or character or ship! - then the first week of voting (OCTOBER 1 - OCTOBER 8, 2010) will be to narrow down the list to only TWENTY FOUR final candidates for Round #001! So make sure you spread the word "campaigning" for your dreamboy!

RULES FOR NOMINATION

You must use the format provided or I won't count your nomination!
All boys must come from FICTIONAL WORKS that are LITERARY. So, Edward Cullen is okay, but Robert Pattinson is not. Or Michael Moscovitz is okay, but Chandler Bing is not. See?
Boys can come from short stories! A lot of good anthologies have been coming out in YA, plus there's the Merry Sisters of Fate and writers posting short stories on their blogs, so short story characters DO COUNT. AGAIN: NONFICTION NON-CHARACTERS DO NOT COUNT.
There is no offense intended at all, but this particular challenge is just for male bookcrushes. If you want me to start one for female bookcrushes, or if you want to take this idea and start one yourself, then that's totally okay! It's just not the aim here.
You can nominate as many bookcrushes as you want! Please nominate them in separate comments per book or series. So, you could nominate Harry, Ron, Draco, and Neville in the same comment, but it has to be a separate comment from Peeta.
THE FORMAT:
1) In the SUBJECT of the comment, put the BOOK OR SERIES TITLE.
2) List each character you're nominating on a SEPARATE LINE in your comment, please!
All nomination comments are screened.
